We covered in a previous article the digital content strategies to follow to communicate well on your social media as a real estate broker. But, as you know, it is very important to vary your communications, in particular by adding newsletters and blog articles to your presence on social media.

What is a newsletter?

“A newsletter is an email sent at regular intervals to a mailing list to inform recipients of news”

The advantage of a newsletter is that it allows you to keep in touch with customers who already know you! And as you know, it's easier to keep a customer than to go get a new one.


The “musts” of a newsletter:

  • Feed your contact database efficiently (contact form or banner on your website, or ask customers directly)
  • Define a frequency and stick to it over time (monthly, every 2/3/4 months): create a reassuring habit for the client
  • Define a content model (canvas/recurring structure: it's reassuring and professional)
  • Use a sending software (SendinBlue, Active Campaign or Mailchimp): be careful, do not use a personal address because they are not made to send large volumes of emails. Specialized tools also make it possible to monitor campaigns, monitor openings, etc.

“A blog is a type of website or part of a website used for the periodic and regular publication of articles reporting on news around a particular theme”

The advantage of the blog is that it allows you to give you visibility on the way you work.


The “musts” of a blog:

  • Research the points of interest of your target readers, particularly in relation to Google search volume
  • Set a frequency and stick to it

  • Make your items personal, but not too much! Finding the middle ground is important.
  • Share your articles on your other content channels (Social Media, Newsletter)! To link them together and make them respond to each other.
